Cupcakes 2 the max - Montville

This little place is truly amazing. Came in before Christmas for some Christmas Tree Cakes that were deeeelicious. Popped in again today and bought a Taco Cupcake! A cupcake that looks just like a Taco! Such imaginative cakes. And tasty too. Hard to find, but it's under the Pizza Shop at the southern end of town. Worth the effort.

Doesn't look like this place is there anymore. The doors and windows are all newspapered and covered up.

Max, the owner, just to listen him explain what his Cup Cakes are about. is worth the drive to Montville , his '' creative'' collection of cup cakes '' absolutely amazing.Ferro Roche, Salted Caramel , Strawberries n Cream , Death By Chocolate , Cherry Ripe, Lemon Morang Pie, Red Velvet Cake, Cappuccino, his imagination to come up with makes it hard to choose.The decision is - which one ??? So - I had a 70 th Birthday to go too - 6 cup cakes later - what a winner- comments everywhere , had to cut in half to share ,Later I had a 60 th Birthday - ditto - Thanks Max - your cup cakes are the talk of the town - go for it !!!

I know that cupcakes are all the rage at the moment, and most of them are just sugary "all the same everywhere" treats, but the cupcakes at this little café were quite unique. They are clearly hand crafted with lots of yummy goodies. I particularly enjoyed the white chocolate cupcakes.. with great coffee and a view of the village. Definitely a must try!
