Contribute FeedbackOur small family stopped here on our way back to our Chambre D'Hote and after a long day in Asterix. This was our first full day in France and so we were tired. We were warmly welcomed and we were grateful for assistance in English when we needed it. We prefer to try in French and so we chatted nicely to the waitress. She recommended a Moroccan wine and it was very affordable and really good. Now the food...this was absolutely wonderful! I am still remembering the flavours two days later. The decor was really lovely and must have cost a fortune to do as it was, I assume ( not having been there!) very Moroccan with lots of detail on the walls and ceilings. I certainly would go back and would recommend it to friends.
We wanted to eat somewhere quietly after a day in Disneyland Paris. And by chance we arrived at this restaurant. I was quite inexperienced when it came to moroccan food & customs. But what a brilliant introduction I got there! We got welcomed by the hostess who was very kind and helpful despite our limited knowledge of the French language. She escorted us to our table and talked to us a little bit. Seldom did I experience such a personal welcome. Also the decorations inside the restaurant were magnificent. The restaurant breathes authenticity. Although I was completely unfamiliar with moroccan culture, I still felt right at home. The food itself was plentiful and very delicious. If I could have given 6 out of 5 points for the food, I would have! I'm mostly quite restrained when it comes to forgein food. But here there is no need for that. Everything is fresh and tastes ab-so-lute-ly GREAT!All in all I wish to thank the owners for having us as their guests. And we'll dine at them again next time we're visting Disneyland
We where staying in Montry for 4 nights, and where wondering around looking for a place to have dinner, and found this amazing place. It was a surprise finding this gem in the middle of a small town. We totally recommended, the service is lovely, the food is fresh and the portion are good value for money (very big plates), we end up eating 3 nights in a row, 2 in the restaurant and a 3rd one take away. Just excellent!!
We are staying at the Marriott Vacation Club and we asked the concierge for a recommended list of places to eat in the area. My mom is from Morocco so when we saw there was a local Moroccan restaurant we looked it up on TA. All the reviews were favorable. As you drive into this small town you really have to wonder where the restaurant could possibly be and how good could it possibly be?!?!When we arrived we were promptly greeted by the owner who had a big smile. We were seated and ordered the pastilla and Moroccan salad as apps (delicious!). For entrees we ordered lamb kebab couscous, chicken and olives with lemon confit and a chicken couscous. Everything was incredibly flavorful and amazing. The raisins soaked in fleur d'oranger were plump and added a nice sweetness to the chicken. He lamb kebabs were tender and tasty. The decor is authentic and very home like. If you are in the EuroDisney area or even if you love in Paris this restaurant is a must!!
We were looking for somewhere to eat near where we were staying in Montry and we found this restaurant. We had never had Moroccan food but it sounded interesting. The whole evening was wonderful. A warm welcome and excellent food. We had been planning to...go into the centre of Paris for a meal the following evening to celebrate my wife's birthday but we changed our minds and headed straight back to the Auberge Marocaine where we had an equally wonderful time. These were two truly memorable evenings and we will certainly make sure that our travel plans take us back there whenever possible.
