This is my first stay at a Bed and Breakfast and was really looking forward to experiencing all it had to offer. Unfortunately, the pub and restaurant was not open and was not communicated on their website nor in person when making reservations. My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Montross for 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We love the area of Colonial Beach/Montross/Westmoreland State Park, but had never stayed at the inn before. We absolutely loved it and we will definitely stay here again! The inn was very welcoming--we loved relaxing in the upstairs sitting room and on the front porch. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable.
We celebrated our 36th anniversary at the Inn on Sunday for Brunch. The food was delicious and we had a wonderful time. Thank you to the staff. Great Job!
Pub food Cold drinks I've only had wings and fries with a cold beer or three and it was very good. If you're down in the bar underneath it feels like you're entering a speak easy In the 1920s. Overall give them a visit and try it out yourself.
The Inn us beautiful, accessable, and in a quaint historical town. The food is always great. I bought a gift certificate for friends during this visit.
I went there for lunch today. Excellent chicken salad and very affordable. Folks should check it out!
