The Inn At Montross

This is my first stay at a Bed and Breakfast and was really looking forward to experiencing all it had to offer. Unfortunately, the pub and restaurant was not open and was not communicated on their website nor in person when making reservations. So we were given $10 cards to use at the restaurant across the street. The A/C did not cool. The bed was hard. There’s no refrigerator or microwave for you to use which would have been nice to have since their restaurant and pub was not open. The owners seem like really great people, but I do think there are some real opportunities for them to make this a genuinely nice place.

I don’t know where to start but this is a great place if you wanna get away from everything the small town is welcoming the food is great the service is amazing you’ll love it me and my family are coming back again for sure and many more after that

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Montross for 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We love the area of Colonial Beach/Montross/Westmoreland State Park, but had never stayed at the inn before. We absolutely loved it and we will definitely stay here again! The inn was very welcoming--we loved relaxing in the upstairs sitting room and on the front porch. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable.

Food was great and ambience was great. They’re only doing catering now. They answered my emails and all worked very well.

This is the 2nd time we have eaten here. We visited on a Sunday for brunch as a party of nine. They were expecting us and were prepared with a wonderful buffet of fabulous food. I will not go into it all, but it was all delicious. The chef also prepared (off menu) several plates of softshell crabs. What a treat. I would strongly recommend you going here if you can get in.
