Having taken longer than expected to visit Chenonceau, we were a hungry group of 6 looking for lunch after 2pm on a cold December’s day (not easy) so we were delighted at the warm welcome we received from the staff. We enjoyed a range of food including snails for some everything was delicious and the final price was very reasonable including the demi pichet of red wine and some vin chaud (mulled wine) to warm us up. What TheWholeTruthES doesn't like about Cafe Du Centre:
Lunch on a cold rainy day. Menu is less than 15 euros and more than enough to fill any normal person. House wine is ok. So is service. Food quality is average and no frills but tasty and well thought out. Definitely an acceptable and recomendable option for lunch in the area. View all feedback.
A correct reception, modern and quality food with local and fresh products, just not to my taste on the day of my passage.
Very nice owner, I recommend 300%, and very good cooking at noon.
First, 5 out of 5 for the reception, kindness, friendliness of the young owners and all those who work there (and if I could put more, I would cut the note very good bistro style table at extremely attractive prices: the menu is simple, according to the desired style of the establishment, and the delicious cuisine very well made. very good wines (I enjoyed an excellent chinon). Here's one of my favorite addresses on the montrichard, for morning coffee and for lunch! (small terrace in the center of town)
The bosses are super nice. The meals are delicious. The place is charming. Nothing to say.
Very good, welcome and service. The butcher's cut is excellent and the homemade fries are superb. The servers are very friendly. Best wishes.
