Délifrance - Montreux

Great place to have a quick and tasty lunch. Several options ranging from sandwiches to pasta and salads. One of the best expressos in town.

I'm a regular take-away customer of Délifrance in several countries around the world since the eighties. I used to live in France for several years so I sometimes miss genuine French pâtisserie and baguette. it is a small piece of France outside of France and about as authentic as it can get with the local ingredients.Although Montreux has a couple of very fine (but expensive) local Swiss pâtisseries I like to come back here for the real French touch.

This is a self service cafe so don't wait around for table service. Sandwiches are freshly made to your choice right in front of you so you can specify exactly what you want. It all takes a little longer but it's not usually busy so no big deal. Nice coffee here served with an unusual accompaniment. Give it a try.

Had 2 burgers and 2 drinks (5chf for a very small glass of OJ) and that came to 26chf. Burger was ok, nothing special and not worth 26 in my opinion. Wouldn't go back at those prices

This has to be the best place in town to get the biggest and more tastiest sandwiches you will ever find. Also the pastry is very good. I recommend visiting for a fast lunch you will not be disappointed!
