L'auberge Des Isles - Montreuil-Bellay

Passing to Montreuil Bellay and being seven we found only this restaurant at the foot of the castle to take our lunch, the other restaurants being complete or closed. With the menus of the day at 19€ we did not expect a wedding meal but also a small pork square at the bottom of our plate half of which was fat, then a dessert to finish. This is expensive but the surprise was to see the coffees billed 2.50€, more expensive than in Paris at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, coffees served naked without any little chocolate cake. At the cost of the invoice fortunately that the staff is not unpleasant.

A very good time. High-end cuisine and efficient and user-friendly service. The restaurant has a very large terrace on the banks of the Loire that must be very pleasant to the beautiful days.

Here the good and the beautiful mix, all rhymed by a smiling team and small care. The little ones we love, the adaptation of vegetarian dishes without removing the quality of the kitchen and the dogs that are accepted with pleasure. In short, a beautiful address

Very overrated and expensive for what it is ... what we ate was good but really not extraordinary of the very average practices to incite you to take the most expensive wine resto bobo ... very well for the Parisians looking for the authentic pseudo ... stop you to pet it, make it simple !

Excellent food. The dishes are well executed and gourmet desserts. Very well advised in the choice of wines by a friendly and pro staff.We were unable to enjoy the terrace because of the time, but it must be very pleasant.
