Contribute Feedback What Ana Maria Damian doesn't like about La Chronique:
The reason for my poor service score was because our reservation was for 6:45 and my husband and I only got our main plate at literally 8:40. This was due to the fact that the couple we were there with were sharing the tasting menu. However, the staff should have asked us when we would like our main plate served after our entree not Make us wait 2 hours because the other couple were Constantly having something while... We came to eat here. the experience and eating is really amazing, I think it's the cheapest tasting 5 curs meals out there. eating is beautiful, the direction, quality and yes, it was surely a “wow”. it is a jewel and a...true must be when in montreal.
We have been in this restaurant for many years. we have never been disappointed with any meal. the only restaurants that are open during the Covid-19 crisis are restaurants that offer food. la chronique now offers food. since the lockdown. this is our third time to order meal. our last meal was on May 2, 2020. for the first cure I had the lobster salad that was delicious. the main course was the Japanese wagyu bark. I never had wagyu bark in my life and it was to die for! it was incredibly tender. amazing! dessert was a pineapple mousse! great! my partner had a lobster salad and dessert. in relation to the main course he had the rabbit with sauce chaseur. kaninchen mit jägersoße. he said it was the first guess. Please note that the restaurant does not deliver so that they need to pick it up. every Tuesday sends out the restaurant, people on their mailing list, the menu for this week. it is obviously a limited menu. they also offer wine to 25% discount. we are happy to support this restaurant in this most difficult time.
La chronique has been a booklet on the laurier road for decades and was known for its food. our visit was a farewell. even if the restaurant was quite empty when we came in and went, we were sent on the first floor dining place in the Punition. the same happened to another couple, and the reason the waiter had given them was not really convincing. some will decorate, it was drab. then we sat, and we waited and waited for our menus. Finally, the waiter brought us the weeping list, but no menus. I choose my wein after I didn't choose to eat otherwise. about eating, it wasn't moderate. 1995 as 2020. everything was extremely salty, but otherwise dirty. the combinations of meat/fish and their vegetables were strange. ok except saltiness when eaten separately but not so good together. one of the amuse jacks had after the taste of the refrigerator. dessert was so. the lovely au chocolat was anything but sweet. the sorbet was ok. coffee or tee were not offered to us at the end of the meal. the waiter really tried, but not very efficient and a little familiar with us to our taste. we are very disappointed. on our way back we drove chao praya now closed, the earlier be the best thai in montreal
