The pastries at this restaurant are delicious. We arrived for breakfast at 8:30 am, even though the breakfast menu starts at 9 am, and we enjoyed our coffees while waiting. The lattes and cappuccinos were served in tall glasses, which don't retain heat very well. The food was overall quite good; I had the croissant with smoked salmon and crème fraîche. They came back. I genuinely wanted to enjoy this place, as I frequented it out of necessity and convenience. However, the inconsistent coffee quality and unremarkable pastries make it difficult for me to recommend it. One of my pet peeves is coffee being served too hot, or lattes without foam—both of which happened during my two-week stay in Montreal. Take your chances if you want.
