Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant offers a mixed bag of reviews, ranging from mediocre to outstanding. Some patrons praised the ambiance and quality of drinks and food. Others found the service lacking and the food overpriced. The decor was lauded, but the taste of the menu items received mixed feedback. Despite some concerns, many diners appreciated the convenient location and cleanliness of the establishment. Overall, Xavier Artisan offers a decent spot for a quick bite or a relaxing coffee, although opinions on the food quality may vary.
Nice cafe just in front of the cathedral. Great place for a quick bite at a fair price. Have stopped in several times this week but this morning I had a croissant with ham, cheese and tomato with a large brewed coffee for $10.00. The...croissant was very good and coffee was just right- bold but not burnt. Lots of seating inside and 7 tables on the sidewalk.
Xavier artisan is a beautiful coffee shop and lunch place opposite the Notre Dame Basilica. After the oral evening we took part in Notre-Dame, we did not get a coffee. we took a window seat so we could observe some people. the coffee. very good and that is quite interesting. through the window we could see the xavier artisan supply wheel! go xavier artisan! – save gas! we could also see the Notre-Dame-Basilika from our window seats and the construction work to the towers. I don't want to be one of the workers who get up in the cage on the crane!
The lovely wife and I stopped here for a coffee after visiting the cathedral. Simply the best latte we had in 3 days. Recommended by us
This little coffee shop was recommended by family who has visited Montreal before and we happened to be staying at an Air BnB right down the street from here so we planned on visiting during our trip. This shop is very inviting, with tables not...too close to each other, big high ceilings that seem to give the feel of extra space and friendly staff. There are huge windows lining the building where you can sit and look outside at the square outside of the Notre Dame Basilica across the way. Such a pretty view on a nice day, and perfect location. They have many options for coffee and also serve bagels, muffins, sandwiches and other breakfast and snack items. We visited twice during our stay and really enjoyed ourselves. The second time we came we just brought our books to kill some time before our flight home and drank our coffee and read. It was perfect and no one made us feel rushed.
Coffee was very tasty. And the bagels, although only offered in three variations, was very light and tasty as well. Not at all like the bagels in the U.S. which are very dense and scone like in texture.
