Although a bit out of the centre, this authentic, quality driven resto with a chef from Guanajuato is a local gem we plan to go back to soon. Very generous dishes are presented with a personal touch and there is a real sense of client consideration. Tasty ingredients and sauces are a big step above the regular Mexican restaurants one usually finds. Varied Mexican beer, wines are also available. Easy street parking is... View all feedback.

Despite that we were only 5 customers in the restaurant. and this, on a Friday night! My boy ate a dish with very dry and hard chicken rolls. accompanied by a rusty salad and raw tomatoes that were too wally... They were not fresh! I stop there for the dishes! The lady left by saying to the young lady... you're lucky to have had a tip. A real vaudeville comedy. We are in Montreal...There are other restaurants!.
This place is a Gem. Food is magnificent. Decor is not 5 stars luxury, but price, service and quality of food are 5 stars.

Easy street parking is another plus, and it is not too far from the Jean Talon market. A visit well worth your while and budget! Buon provencho!
Yesterday afternoon, I dropped by for a snack of shrimp tostadas.
Just had the Chilaquiles at Viva Mexico. Fantastic, having flashbacks of Oaxaca. Will be back for dinner soon!
