Vieux-port Steakhouse - Montréal

A few dishes were served cold... one steak was cooked medium rare, was ordered medium well!! Waitress was pleasant but we only saw her once after meal was served. Never came back to ask for a second round of drinks . They need to hire more help ! Disappointed customers here

Excellent place for dinner. Food was delicious, staff attentive and friendly, and sitting on the patio at night was great to keep taking in the atmosphere of the area.

The salmon felt freshly cooked.That being said, from the start the hostess seemed as though she was looking down on me and my wife. She didn’t even tried to hide the expression on her face. She was just not happy to see us.Then throughout the meal, I couldn't shake the feeling that the waiter was being passive aggressively rude towards us, this attitude significantly detracted from what should have been an enjoyable experience.This review could easily be a 5/5 if it wasn’t because of the service we received.I believe (and surely the owners of the restaurant) that everyone should be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of their background and language they speak. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and work to ensure that all customers are treated equally. Most importantly for a restaurant that serves tourist from all over the world.

Great location. Very good meal. Very attentive service by our server Monash. No background music for us a big plus. Highly recommended.

Simply outstanding. I would have given 6 stars for the service we received. We will recommend them without hesitation.
