I remember the first time I sat down at the counter, and was greeted by Nikos. Being super hungover at the time, I ordered two eggs, salami, bacon and taters. Best breakfast, that I've had ever. Sad to hear about Niko passing, I had many a great conversation and he's always give me an extra egg. RIP brother. View all feedback.

Remember shows from the 80s like Cheers, where everyone knows each other and the staff know what you want before you even order? Cosmo's is one of those dying breed of old-school establishments. It seats 9 people max along a L booth table; you order your breakfast, and it comes with potatoes smashed in butter and salt. If you order bacon, you'll get 3 slices; I asked my vegetarian partner to order bacon with his eggs so I can have double. As you can imagine from my plate in this photo, there was delightful regret. Conversations, like eating there, are often communal and spontaneous with comical personalities.
The food was absolutely amazing and the prices were very good. Everyone is very kind and it’s a very warm/inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Small cozy old school diner with a dozen stools on a shared counter. Great conversation with the waitresses and other clients. Great food, homemade feel.Wheelchair accessibility: None.
Tiny little place! 9 stools at the counter and that’s it. I felt lucky to get a seat here and it did not disappoint. A 40-year regular of this place picked up my tab as a welcome which was so kind. I didn’t get their names but the two girls working were phenomenal and so friendly. The meal was gigantic and delicious- get the Mish Mash! What a great place. Lots of other things to do in this neighborhood as well. An absolute must-stop when you’re in Montréal.
