Sushi Shop du Village - Montréal

You in the village and you're craving sushi but dont have time to sit down? hit sushi shop. it's a chain. nothing crazy. it'll taste good. fresh product but nothing amazing. it does the trick

Excellent fresh sushi. We ordered California roll and tuna roll. Both were excellent. Soy sauce very good too.

My husband and I were visiting Montreal and staying near UQAM in the Village. We saw an advertisement for this restaurant chain that showed round sushi and I wanted to try it. We found this one near our hotel. The menu is extensive and the prices pretty reasonable. The service was quick and friendly and the seating area very clean. Our food was fresh and tasty. I loved the Teriyaki Bomb which is one of the round sushi type. It has crab and shrimp with mayo and mozzarella. We also got some rolled sushi that was good but I forget the names.

We were staying in the Village area and had been overwhelmed by the huge portion sizes of the mainly fried food on offer. We were delighted to discover the Sushi Shop chain as we do love sushi. So easy to pick up and take back to the b&b and always delicious. This branch was our first find but there is another one about 500m east on Ste Catherine which we preferred.
