We went to dinner on Wednesday and the restaurant was very busy. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table, but it was worth it because the food was amazing as always. The service was great too. Our waiter had a great sense of humor which made our experience even more enjoyable. I thought I could handle the spiciness in the soup, but it ended up being too much for me. What User doesn't like about Satay Brothers Resto 3721 Notre-dame:
when someone who grew up with the kitchen, I was not surpassed by their offered. the satay lacked spicing with a shallow erdnus sauce. the gado gado salat had fresh ingredients, but it was unfair with a tough dressing missing some tamarinde and sugar. the laksa was decent, although it was a diluted version of the real thing - although a nice touch with the Vietnamese mint and the sambal chili. but the crisp deco and... We went to a Wednesday night and we waited like 5 minutes. Let's talk about this place! A.ma.zing! In my opinion, I should try! The mood is so beautiful, the place is well furnished and everyone enjoys. You have to try their rolls! I wish I had more pictures of what we ate, but we literally dug into our plates. Lol.

Our waiter had a great sense of humour and made us enjoy our experience even more. Thought I can handle the spice in the soup but was too spicy for me in the end. Shouldn’t have mixed in the extra spice they provide in your spoon. But the flavours were so good if you can taste them over the numbness of your tongue from the spice :p
We were just walking along notre dame, we were hungry, we checked Google Maps for a different place, saw the high stars and we found a gem! A very chill and hip atmosphere, great service and amazing food! Explosive flavours, interesting drinks and cool périple. We ordered all kinds of plates and are only half way through and I’m writing this positive review. We will be back!
One of my favourite restaurants in Montreal. The food is authentic and delicious. The decor and ambiance fell like you’ve been transported.
Very tasty satay. The side peanut sauce was on point as well. Don't hesitate to inquire about the special fried rice of the day. It's a great option for a side or dish to share. Also love the fact that you can cash out using the QR code on your table without having to flag a server. Great idea to add fluidity in service and let people decide when they are ready for the bill.
