So Old Montreal is a tourist trap. We carefully avoided another restaurant which looked tempting but was poorly reviewed on TripAdvisor. read moreA mixed bag of reviews for this Old Montreal restaurant. Some found the food disappointing and the service lacking, labeling it a tourist trap to avoid. Others enjoyed the atmosphere, attentive wait staff, and generous portions of delicious food. Standouts included the lobster roll with a unique twist and the mouth-watering carrot cake. With a prime location on Place Jaques Cartier, it's a great spot for people-watching and soaking up the lively ambiance. Overall, opinions on this restaurant seem to vary depending on individual experiences, making it a hit or miss dining option for visitors and locals alike.
