Contribute FeedbackDining at the ITHQ restaurant in Montreal was a mixed experience. Some found the food and service disappointing, with high prices and issues with portion sizes. However, others enjoyed the innovative menu, wonderful wine pairings, and top-notch service. The atmosphere was praised for being warm and welcoming. Overall, opinions varied, with some guests planning to return for the excellent value, while others were disappointed and felt the need for improvement in certain areas. Despite the mixed reviews, the ITHQ restaurant offers a unique dining experience worth considering.
Nice dinner for both of us. My husband has always enjoyed eating what I would refer to as "high end" food. While I enjoy it as well, I usually struggle with the thought of paying a large amount of money for one single meal. Well, we found a place that made us both extremely happy. We had the 5 course tasting menu for $55 each. Amazing food. Started with foil gras, then ricotta-stuffed zucchini blossoms, smoked veal, blue cheese panna cotta, and strawberry cream puff with mascarpone. All courses were scrumptious. Presented beautifully. As it is a learning environment, the service needed a bit more polish, but was extremely personable, so really did not detract from our experience at all. In fact, it may have made the experience a bit more friendly and relaxed. We will enthusiastically return to this location should we return to the enchanting city of Montreal!
This address, which is well known and warmly recommended by Montrealers, is very disappointing. The average service and food lacks peps. It's a renowned hotel school. Alcohols are very expensive. Okay for folklore and bof for the rest
We went to this restaurant for a dinner with friends and as it is a restaurant with students we put our expectations accordingly. The menu is simple but good. There is a 5-course tasting menu at $55 that is good. with the wines in agreement is $90.The dishes are good with good agreement of flavors. the choir of wines is very good. in general prices are a little high for the place. the service was correct but no more and I think there is room for improvement on this side. I wish I had the chance to see a supervisor to discuss the dishes and the service. A good experience but I don't think I'm going back.
After having discovered by chance this restaurant on the internet and enthusiastic by the concept (from hotel students to the service), I promised myself to go to dinner during my next stay in Montreal. I wasn't disappointed. dishes sought after, original and very well presented. Very good service. the team in the room on April 28th at night made a mistake. a quality ratio at the height of the services.
Good place to discover. the price remains relatively high given that it is a school. the quality of the food is...More
