What Dallas Frami doesn't like about Restaurant Alexandre:
There was no one in this restaurant the night we went, so we had the who place to ourselves, well downstairs anyway, not sure what was upstairs. The waiter was helpful and friendly but no more friendly and helpful than anywhere else. It is a bring your own wine type of place as are a lot of the restaurants on the street. Fabulous food, friendly staff made this a fantastic experience. Bring your own wine made it easy on the pocketbook. Appetizer sampler was a highlight as were the lamb chops. View all feedback.

Food is yummy, I like their pasta primavera. I usually get extra mushrooms and add chicken. The butterfly shrimps are tasty.

read moreA Mediterranean restaurant on a street lined with similar options, this establishment offers a bring-your-own-wine policy which many diners appreciate. The food is generally described as good but not outstanding. Waitstaff experiences vary, with some complaining about demands for higher tips. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Many reviewers recommend a visit, especially highlighting the trio plate which includes a soup, salad, main dish, coffee, and dessert for under $27. Despite some flaws, this restaurant offers a solid dining experience at a good value compared to other pricier options nearby.
