We happened to discover this restaurant by chance. It was late and we didn't feel like going out, so we decided to order from here through Uber Eats. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the bifana (pork sandwich) which came with fries and a salad. My husband ordered a mixed plate with sausage, chicken, and fish, all for only $17.50. If you like Portuguese chicken, this is a good option, family-friendly and well taken care of. If you go on Sunday, it's all you can eat. Lots of potatoes always. Low to medium cost. Good beer. Close to the botanical garden and then the Biodome (by bus). View all feedback.
That's all. Could be different depending on who works, but I asked for a refund. While waiting for my meal, I noticed that the cooking handle then garnish and place the raw chicken with its bare hands (don't wash between the handling of the grill, there were no gloves). What happened when I asked about a glass of water? The cashier who was just finished with money took what I assumed was a dirty glass and washes it with her bare hands, without soap. Then she filled it and intended to serve me the glass of water. I appreciate the refund as my other alternatives were either food poisoning or hunger and $12 short.
Pretty good chicken, not very expensive. Would recommend taking out instead of eating.
The chicken poutine I had at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. It was filled with grease, the service was poor, and overall, it was a disgusting experience.
I recently tried the grilled half chicken, while my friend ordered the fried Dorada fish. Both dishes were served with a delicious salad.
I will never go there on a Sunday again. Don't get me wrong, the chicken is really good, but the policy of not allowing us to bring our leftover chicken home was frustrating.
