Great little place to take your family, coworkers or friends. You choose your fish and they make it into an amazing dish. 4 stars for service because we asked/waited for water, but otherwise it was a place I would recommend. The fried calamari is done very well, and grilled shrimp amazing. We had a great time there.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What susan XYZ doesn't like about Poissonnerie Rayan:
I came here with pretty high expectations. However, it turned out not so good . Starting with the smell , when we got close to the fish and seafood counter, something was not really pleasant caught in the air. I'm sure it was not because of the seafood since we can also feel it even when we're sitting. As far as the food, the fried calamari and shrimp were not bad, but nothing outstanding as well, the grilled octopus... View all feedback.
I love eating all that we ordered and it was very fast. super love the calamari, the garnel and the fried kartoffeln very pale.
Preserves 0 stars. the cash register is rude, very hesitant and behaves as if you like. gives them a look if they don't like a tipp, why they should be with such terrible service. if $200 plus dollar spent in the food and was asked for another sauce, it was said to cost extra because it was a contract if it was not 1 person can eat 200$ meeresfruit from itself. in the service counter they will not explain the prices to them and if they are new, they will tell them that there is a minimum price to try to spend them more money. Nobody wears a mask right and cook and serve her eating in Covid-19. no vaccination control. no place to sit. confusing and very rude, as if they would please you if you spend your money there. never go back to where you spend your money.
We came last year since this restaurant was recommended by many of my friends, as one of the dinge to do in montreal (we are from the gta.) that eating was delicious, service was amazing. we came back this year, again eating was delicious, the cook helped us to choose which kind of dressed. the service was great. only the question was that we will find a parking space forever, especially in this snow-covered weather. so easy to prepare.
Rayans poissonerie is an indifferent seafood restaurant. I can't come back for me. as we feed here around 2018. it was good for the greatest part. they can choose any seating opportunity they desire, and it is not really organized and managed. service here is in order and I feel as if they care more money than quality and service. some of the employees here want to deprive them of their money. eating there is extremely salty. almost all of there eating is used with salt so much so that they need plenty of water with them. the waiter and the staff are nice, but they have different waiters at any time, so they can always ask them. if they need to order them first choose their food type like a metzger or fishing business in a business that is beautiful, but they need to watch and communicate with the kerl to ensure that they get the correct amount and good measurement. at the end of the meal they need to double check and make sure that their eating is correct, as they sometimes melt their total mass and make sure that they know that they order properly and well. they also expect a big tip that is ridiculous. all in all with saltiness, bad management not enough options with drinks, and money over eating and no experience it can be our last time here. I hope that they will improve on the polite quality and a better restaurant principle for all customers and ecological sustainability. I feel indifferent and cannot come back.
Great place any sea food like for octopus, fried shrimp and fried calamari. I recommend.
