service excellent, smiling, kind. well served dishes, French brewery. If you have a show in the corner and you don't want a 'fast food' place that's the place. it's important to be major. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Place Deschamps Bar A Vin:
Waitress was very nice and recommended the tartar which I took her recommendation but was just gross. Mayo and no flavor to it and comes with these home made chips when they should give you option of salad too. A few customers had the same plate and I heard them all complain. Unless for drinks or cheese plate not suggested to go. View all feedback.
A group of 10 of us went pre jazz fest and while some dishes were very good others were fair. **** Caesars have no zing and are made with tomato juice, the battered fish ( which was delicious) comes without fries, and both the salmon tartar and the duck dish were bland. The fish comes with a bland ( again)! Cole slaw and no French fries. I was told that I could get chips as an appetizer so I assumed that they were fries ( as in fish and chips) but they were greasy potato chips (for $6!). All mains came together, which was nice, but wait staff had no idea who was supposed to get what dish. As I write this I am wondering why this restaurant deserves a 3/5 rating -- maybe it was the atmosphere, my friends, and the Jazz festival that made for such a nice evening
Restaurant offering a very interesting, original and quality menu. the choice is relatively limited, but there is something to satisfy most preferences. The dishes are essentially revisited classics, such as the caesar salad with grilled pinetad breast (would have been even better if made with lettuce other than iceberg). portions are reasonable for the price. desserts are excellent and the menu of wines and cocktails offers a very nice choice. This restaurant is not a must as such, but definitely one of the best in the area and a very good choice during an outing instead of the arts or in place of the festivals.
When we talk about good service, good reception, courtesy and respect for the client, the place is all found. for nothing to harm the excellent reception, the dishes are succulent and prepared with local quality products. having arrived late after a concert, we had a first-class service, now, instead of going home!, where I am always disappointed with the overrated and pompous welcome to wish, I found my place to spend a very good evening
A small dinner just before the show and hop... small delights for taste buds and david to satisfy our expectations with all its good mood and extra service! You're making a great team and the meal...delicious! to renew.
I tried this restaurant because it's in place of the arts. very convenient to have dinner before attending the show but I was disappointed. There was a nice welcome. Despite the fact that the server was a little too volubile to my taste, it offered a good service, but a little too fast. We weren't in a hurry, my daughter and I, but she drank her sangria with her guedilla because the meal was too fast. the shrimp shrimp swath was quite ordinary (regular mayo, small frozen shrimp). Inside, the homemade chips were too salty, the generous olive dish. I took the caesar salad: soft lettuce, the taste of very (too) pronounced anchovies. the mini-hamburgers were cancelled to replace them with pane cod with fries (but without fries, which were replaced by the cabbage room). The cheesecake was very good as well as the coffee with milk.At $126 for a meal with 2 glasses of aperitif, a chip and olive entrance, a guedilla, a caesar salad and a dessert/café, I will be tempted to try another restaurant while waiting for the show. Very disappointed!
