10 out of 10 for the knefeh ,coffee and the staff's hospitality.I felt like I'm in Lebanon again.I am also satisfied with the ready food I got such as kebbe, vine leaves,ouzi..etc. A bit pricey but worth every penny.
10 out of 10 for the knefeh ,coffee and the staff's hospitality.I felt like I'm in Lebanon again.I am also satisfied with the ready-to- go food I got such as kebbe, vine leaves,ouzi..etc.Update: Visiting the place for the second time,I'm very satisfied with the quality of Knefeh+bakery and hospitality. It's obvious they use excellent quality products which guarantee an authentic taste. There's something very special about the old damuscene house architecture, which makes the breakfast experience pleasant on multisensory levels.
Oh my, the desserts are amazing here! I am originally from Syria, and I loved this place! We also tried the vegetarian grape leaves (Yalanji), and they were very, very delicious! The decor is very nostalgic to Syria...very beautiful...its very crowded BTW... we sat outside in the patio and enjoyed eating our desserts and drinks. Classy music, too (they were playing Melhem Barakat), the staff is very helpful and trying thier best to navigate the crowds and help all customers, and they kept giving us samples to try for each dessert type. Overall, it was a very positive experience and will definitely go again.
Bad serviceUnfriendly , rude staffQuality not that good , too expensive for quality they offer .They serve with cheap cups and plates
One of the best halawit l jibn ever never tasted something like that. Now they have the kashta ice cream hand made amazing taste. Taste exactly like back home ice cream
Stunning Moroccan atmosphere, delicious middle-eastern sweets, an incomparable customer service, and the best cardamon coffee we’ve ever tasted! It’s very hard to find it all in one place, but Pâtisserie Mahrouse has definitely won a place in our “best of all times” places to visit in Montreal. What a joy to have found this jewel right in the heart of the city
