What Hazel Gorczany likes about Ouzeri:
we were looking for a restaurant close to the theater to eat there before the show and came back a little by chance. The martini beef was really falling, perfect cooking, succulent! the very fresh seafood dish. A good little finding at affordable prices. View all feedback.

What Dallas Frami doesn't like about Ouzeri:
It was our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood for a long time, but the recipes seem to have changed, the dishes are much less copied, less fresh (e.g., the cooked spanakopitas and recuits. the Greek salad more oily and less tasteful)., and in addition, the prices have increased quite a bit. Mediterranean food with a Greek/French Canadian flair. Fresh foods are the ingredients for great dishes prepared very well. Definitely minimally sauced with the ingredients that are used allowed to Speak fro themselves, as it were, in a dish.

I live in the states about two hours from Montreal. I discovered this restaurant about years ago. It is one the best in Montreal even though the prices are in mid-range for Montreal. It does not break the bank to eat here. Excellent quality...food. Nice selection of Ouzo and beer on tap. Good staff. It always puts out a good product.

I had lunch at Ouzeri a couple of days ago and I was not impressed with the food. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly tasty or appealing. There are definitely better options for Greek food in the neighbourhood. The taramosalata was one of the...worst I've ever tasted. The lamb with feta was OK. The vegetables in the side dish (rice, potatoes vegetables) were over-boiled and just had a very tired look. We liked the marinated mushroom appetizer and were happy to have a glass of Retsina. The place looks nice, but it wouldn't be my first choice for good Greek food.
