What User doesn't like about Nudo Restaurant:
Really what happened to me was that I ordered a vegetarian noodle soup for lunch. I specifically wanted it to be vegetarian. And I watched the man make some fresh noodles right in front of me. It was really interesting to watch him. Quite fascinating in fact. My soup came and there were vegetables in it, but also several slices of brown mystery meat. I was quite dismayed. Nudo is a Chinese and Taiwanese restaurant located in the quaint Chinatown of Montreal. It is a popular spot for students and tourists wandering through the neighborhood's main street. The restaurant is known for its specialty noodle soups, which are prepared by hand by a chef visible through a window. In addition to noodle dishes, they also offer rice dishes, soups, spring rolls, and dumplings. Nudo is open every day and accepts debit and credit cards for payment.
The food is delicious and affordable here. The noodles are handmade and taste so fresh. It's the best noodles I had in an Asian dish. I like it's also ancillary dishes you can choose from. We have the braided beef and it was very tasteful. We also had the little pancakes and it was perfect. I ordered the braided beef soup, it was so good. The meat was very tender and the soup was good seasonal. This is definitely a place to go back!
This place was delicious. 4 pasta dishes ordered and all 4 were amazing, fast, perfectly cooked noodles, and steaming hot. The prices were $10 per bowl, which was very reasonable for the taste and part of what you get.
The service was very nice and I was not sure what to order, so I asked for a recommendation. She gave me some ideas and I chose the bbq beef Udon, which was an amazing choice. She made sure I was happy with what I ordered a few times, but was never intrusive. The noodles were amazing, thick and full of taste. The broth was also very good. High-quality broth from what I tasted. The vegetables added a nice soothing taste and felt at the soup. Especially the cucumber that surprised me when I saw her and tasted her. When I come back, I will certainly try different soup / noodle. I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for an amazing soup in Chinatown Montreal.
Order freshly drawn noodles to the right. Soup is decent. Lightly rich and fleshy. Compared to the other spots, there are better alternatives for the price. But this place is the basis, it is what is expected with this style of soup.
