What Dominique L doesn't like about Nouveau Delhi Express:
Very nice little restaurant, a welcoming place for a quick dinner when you live in Verdun. Prices are good, portions and presentation also. BUT don't expect the typical Punjabi food you are used to and that is popular in Northern India. Actually, everything we ordered was just tentatively Indian. It was quite bland and didn't have the right blend of spices. I heard the owners are from Bengladesh. It would have been i... View all feedback. What Sarah V likes about Nouveau Delhi Express:
Ordered online. The man ordered a butter chicken with rice, and I ordered a chicken Korma with naan. The naan was absolutely delicious. I honestly wish I had ordered another. The chicken Korma was sweet, a nice thick sauce, and they didn't cheap out on the chicken. The butter chicken had a great flavor to it, but I personally prefer a little bit of a thicker sauce. read moreDelhi restaurant in Verdun offers a cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices for a quick dinner in the area, although the food may not match typical Punjabi flavors. Some diners found the dishes bland and lacking in spice, while others appreciated the sweet and thick sauces. Service was generally friendly and efficient, making it a convenient option for both dine-in and take-out. The Thali menu was a hit among a group of family members, providing a sampler of various dishes for those unfamiliar with Indian cuisine. Despite some mixed reviews, Delhi remains a solid choice for Indian food in Verdun.
