I absolutely adore this restaurant: it has a cozy atmosphere with welcoming staff, serves the most incredible fusion cuisine, and is ideal for a romantic date night.

This charming Japanese restaurant is small but cozy! You can watch the skilled Japanese chef prepare your meal in the compact kitchen. The waitress was a Japanese woman who spoke with an English accent.

We had a reservation for two at 7pm on a Wednesday night and there were only two tables occupied that evening.

Quite disappointed with this restaurant. Food was ok but not great. Service not great either and we felt we were being rushed even though the place wasn't busy.

Granted we were a group of 21. But we rearranged tables and we all sat in the outside patio area. The menu looked good and we were sure that there was plenty of stuff to please everyone. The food was kind of decent. In our group we had fish and chips and pizza. They were both ok. The calamari and Greek salad were good. The poutine was just average. We waited FOREVER to get waited on. I'm sure it was close to half an hour or maybe more for an acknowledgement. I don't know if they were short staffed or if we were just too many people. The order was correct when it came. The server was friendly. I guess all in all it was ok. It's been around since 1990 so I guess that says something.
