Morys Pizza - Montréal

Lot's of positives:- big parking lot so easy parking- willing to accommodate babies - massive plus for us as new parents-BYOW which is fun if you enjoy a drink- cute restaurant-fun vibe- fun service ( they take down your name and give you personalized service)- very pretty and impressive presentation!the thing is....the sushi is just ok at most......it's actually gummy. As in- it's squishy and fat. It has so much rice and we basically had to cut an avocado maki in half to fit it in our mouths - not sure that that's the way sushi is meant to be eaten.Overall, fun evening in a fun restaurant but wouldn't go back based on the quality of the food.

Je passais souvent devant ce restaurant et me demandais qui pouvait bien y aller, bien que la devanture soit sobre, classique et invitante, on pourrait ne pas s'y attarder. Ce serait une grave erreur. Une de mes plus belles expériences, sinon la plus belle, en matière de sushi. Tout était parfait!

From the outside, this restaurant looks like all other cheap sushi joint around town. I was skeptical at first, but now i am a fan of chef Nhut.His best signature dishes are Lobster Tempura and Salmon Tartar: so flavorful, so fresh and so good. Seafood Eggplant is a must-try too.Try this restaurant out and you will be nicely surprised.We will be back for sure.

We were kind of guessing when we ordered because we don't speak French. Had soup it was delicious. The lobster tempera. The sushi pizza with lobster. We had some veggie rolls and 2 rolls from the chefs special menu (salmon avacado and one with tuna and onion 49 & 55) and everything was incredible. Will be back next time we travel to Montreal.

This sushi is the best in Montreal! Even though it is a small restaurant, the chef is really skilled and the food is delicious. The chef was previously a chef at Ginger and I was really sad when it closed down. When I found out he opened his own restaurant, I had to go try it out. Nori sushi did not let me down, the sushi was fresh and really good. The tempura with lobster and lime is a must try! It is not a sushi but you won't regret it. Even though Nori sushi is a bit far for me (Laval,30 min drive), it is my go to place when I have sushi cravings. If you prefer eating in the comfort of your own home, Nori sushi does take-outs.(I got a really nice platter for Christmas eve.) Happy holidays
