Mexi-Hola Resto Bar - Montréal

Located just steps from the Berri-UQAM Metro station on St Denis, Mexi-Hola is a hidden gem among the numerous dining options in the area. Despite the lack of customers on a Saturday night, we took a chance and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. We were seated by the cozy gas fireplace and attended to by a friendly but inexperienced hostess. Although there were a few hiccups with my order, the meal turned out to be amazing. The chips and salsa were disappointing, but the main dishes were divine. I highly recommend trying Mexi-Hola for authentic Mexican cuisine. We shared a Combo meal that was filling and tasty, with dishes like tacos, a chicken burrito, Spanish rice, and homemade refried beans. The owner/manager just needs to work on marketing the restaurant better, as it has the potential to become a popular spot in the area. Mexi-Hola has only been open for less than a month, but it is definitely worth a visit if you're craving Mexican food. Ole!
