Was User at Mercuri 109 Montreal Qc a mag?
We discovered this place while passing by on the street, seemed like a hole in a wall type of restaurant. We were greatly surprised by the overall quality and service. We got the set tasting menu. Every dish was delicious and complex. Cocktails were decent too. I would mostly recommend the grilled salmon dish, burrata salad (best burrata I've tried) and the dessert which was a recipe of the chef's grandma. Service wa... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Mercuri 109 Montreal Qc:
They closed on a Wednesday lunch time without even informing! I showed up looking like stupid with a client in -20. However, they take your credit card, and first to charge no show up fees. Never again! Meal type: Lunch View all feedback.

Had a reservation specifically to experience the tasting menu. Called a couple of hours in advance to confirm that it was available for the night of my reservation, and was assured by phone that it was. Was assigned a table right under the air-conditioning (freezing cold with the exterior draft coming in), and after sharing a cocktail with my girlfriend, we were notified that the tasting menu was not available and a third of the menu items were substituted for alternatives. The reason provided was that they were going to be closed the day after, which somehow meant they would not be doing the tasting menu for that night. Price per person: CA$20–30

I suggest to be seated at the bar to experience the open kitchen vibe. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Tuna Sashimi, Bread Pudding
