We went here for dinner and waited fifteen minutes. It was worth it but I wish that we came early to get steam dumplings because when they are busy, they either boil or fry and they will not prepare half and half. The fried dumplings are chewy and not as good as the boiled dumplings. They only accept cash. Very good and large portions. Highly recommend. View all feedback.
After visiting Montreal several times, this restaurant has become a must-visit on my list of dining options.
I visited this restaurant on a cold Sunday night and left feeling very satisfied. The restaurant specializes in serving only dumplings as the main dish.
I enjoy a delicious, traditional boiled dumpling, and Mai Xiang Yuan serves them perfectly.
Okay my husband is a dumpling guy but I'm not crazy for them - until now. We had the steamed with chicken and cilantro and the fried with ground beef and onion. Both were fantastic. There is no doubt we will come back next time in Montreal - I really want to try the ground beef curry flavor everyone is raving about. They only take cash but have an atm in the front vestibule.
