You can get great fresh cooked croissant and breakfast foods anywhere in the city but you can't always get them with a smile. You can tell the cafe is family owned. They don't rush you, they explain all the options, and they are happy to accommodate any requests. Easy in/out if you just want to pick up coffee, etc., and nice place to sit and relax with your coffee and newspaper.

Has a very calm/chill atmosphere, pleasant employees (Olivia is a star) and truly exceptional coffee. Highly recommended.

The food is really good, the people are friendly and they have the potential to be great. The problem is everything is $0.75 - $2.00 overpriced. I know it doesn't seem like a lot but it adds up. I would probably go there every morning and for more afternoon coffees if they would reduce their prices a bit. I have spoken to other people who live in my building and we all feel the same way. Other than that, it's a great little cafe.
