It's not high gastronomy but there are good comforting dishes including some varieties of Chinese paté. prices are very affordable. well located in a busy corner. Maybe more a place for tourists. View all feedback.

cheap dinner with typical dish with sweet potato puree, maize and a stew of meat and a savoured pork sandwich. The fact that the tip is more or less mandatory seems to me an unwise thing, especially when, as in this case, the waitress points out the thing with an arrogant tone. View all feedback.

Local dishes were delicious. Pate Chinois...similar to shepherd's pie Pouding Choumeur..similar to steamed syrup sponge

Our first night in Montreal and we were looking for somewhere to sample the poutine and grab a drink quickly, we came across this place, which was quieter than the other restaurants, which sometimes worries me that it won't be great. However I was in for a nice surprise, the Pulled pork poutine I had was great, the portions were so large that I struggled to finish it. The drinks and other snacks were good too, I would say that it is no-frills type place and as a result is inexpensive but I couldn't fault anything, I would definately go back when I'm in Montreal again. Also I should say that the server was very good, she seemed to be working on here own but was constantly topping up our glasses and there to help.
The food was ok. Not exciting at all. The pulled pork poutine was very good but the smoked meat sandwich was underwhelming and barely had meat on it despite being called the super stack. The waitress was on her own and clearly needed help. Fine for an inexpensive meal but don't expect to be wowed.
