Local Jerk was a great find in Montreal. We enjoyed the restaurant and the food. However we expected a bit more flavor in our main dish. It was not super expensive (about 30$ for 2 but portion were not big either. View all feedback. What User likes about Local Jerk:

read moreLocal Jerk is a standout find in Montreal, offering state-of-the-art Jamaican cuisine that surprises and delights diners. The jerk chicken is a must-try, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly service and unique exotic sodas. Dishes like jerk seitan and red beans & rice cater to vegetarians exceptionally well. While portions are generous enough for leftovers, some diners wished for more flavor in their mains. However, the overall consensus is that Local Jerk is a gem in Montreal's diverse culinary scene, with affordable prices and memorable dishes that keep customers coming back for more.
Reasonable prices and tasty food. Def on the spicy side so if you don’t like spices, you can ask them to adjust!
Nice little place! Simple, friendly, with good food and big portions. Not expensive at all and the ambiance is great.
