What Frederick Altenwerth doesn't like about Les Iles En Ville :
We went twice to this restaurant, which we had heard of good. prices are really exaggerated. The first time, I had taken a pot-en-pot (fish pasta) and it was frankly ordinary, very few seafood inside. The second time, I took the lobster guedilla, a dish at $25 at the table d'hôte (including excellent soup, coffee, dessert) and frankly, I had 4-5 small pieces of lobster in the sandwich. $25? my spouse took the chicken... Beautiful front, appealing to the pigeon in the wrong of exoticism! reception tonitruating, I expected...I'm going back to a family restaurant, it doesn't bother me. directed to a table.. water glass, explanatory to the fly I tend the ear to be able to take info. there is a host table but also a card that is in the short of modification so very little thing available, it goes wrong I just wanted to enjoy the pleasures of the Islands. I leave the card aside to avoid the "no it we have more", nice table d'hôte, family cooking dishes lasagne de fruit de mer, croquette de morue et pot en pot scallops, shrimp, HOMARD...Wahouuuu 31 $ I want this...but just the plate so $7 less than the price indicated, no soup, no dessert, not my plate is right. Little salad on my plate, and the famous pot. a dish in stainless steel covered with broken pate, I open to see the pieces of lobster, shrimp, and scallops so desired...and well. I'm looking for some frozen shrimps that are shrinking to cooking, some frozen princess scallops also and narrowed down, the lobster is almost nonexistent but on the other hand there's potato in tab. and almost no sauce in the background, I look at my plate and I think that the most fantastic in this one is the accompanying salad that, however, cruelly lacks vinaigrette because the plastic container in small versus salad, the 4 pieces of red bettraves were good but short. (I ended up putting the bett marinade on my salad). So this plate cost me 27$ tip and it wasn't worth the price! it's a scam of the style tourist places of great frequentation! high price ratio disappointing, if you don't change your quality and the ratio that you applied to the cost of food in your plates you will close !!

Another guest had taken the mackerel salad, the same story. I'm not going.
We were a large group (14) to get together for lunch. This was the second time we ate there as the food was so good last time. A family operated restaurant with Ginette in charge. She was great with managing to serve everyone within a few minutes of each other. The sea food chowder, house soup and lobster or shrimp rolls were very delicious.
Don't even think about it!Lobster too cooked, frozen cod, 1choix of wine with glass, unbreakable, table benchale, terrace, a joke!!!
We visit here once a year... and when we return the host remembers us! We enjoyed delicious lobster... and made a second visit for more lobster! Thank you!
