Le Karisma Taco - Montréal

My first time trying octopus ? but it was amazing! The al pastor was amazing also. Very pleased to find such a great taco place on vacation!

Super cute and cozy restaurant serving small plate Mexican food. The ambiance is great for a small group or a first date. We shared a lot of the dishes and I was happy with the vegetarian options. The cocktails were really, really good ? I had the Maria Bonita and my friend stuck to mojitos. The service was personable and efficient. The only negative was that in general the food was heavier (oil/cheese) than I like and it would have been good to balance with more fresh veggies. Overall fun night out.

This taco bar is not bad but it's biggest fault is that they are pricing themselves significantly above their class. The atmosphere is fairly casual with the limited seating and stool seating. They seem to go for a hole in the wall with nice tacos but price themselves like a full on restaurant. I dropped just over $30 on 4 small tacos of various types. The server was a bit pushy with drinks. After I made it clear I was only eating and not drinking, she tried to sell me non alcoholic drinks found this annoying but besides the persistent upselling it was good service. Despite the petite size, the tacos were rather delicious also, but I don't see myself returning here.

I?ve been to many mexicain restaurants in my life, hands down this one is the best, the food is so good they have many choices of tacos, fried burritos, the drinks are very good as well, the service is top, and the prices are very reasonable, I will come to celebrate my birthday !

Really good place for Mexican food! Staff are very welcoming and sweet! Service was excellent. Food is delicious! And we had some leftover guacamole, so we asked the waitress to pack them for us for take away, so they added extra guacamole on top of them which was very sweet : Would definitely come back!
