We've been having empanadas here for over 20 years .. absolutely the best in town. Make sure to order a few, and don't forget the salsa picante. In fact, the empanadas are so good, that in all these years, we haven't had a chance to try any more of the menu!Great spot for fresh fruit shakes too. View all feedback.

I have been a customer at this restaurant for many years. Don't be deceived by its appearance! The food is consistently delicious and the service is friendly. The restaurant is small, with seating at the bar or by the window, and there are no fancy decorations. However, the quality of the food surpasses the simple decor. The empanadas are tasty, and the breaded steak plate is generous and delicious, served with salad and sweet plantains. A visit to this restaurant is definitely worthwhile!
Although not Colombian i went with a Colombian friend and regardless of our backgrounds we were both highly impressed. There were Colombian sodas, that my friend had not seen in years and the food was incredible. Great meat, well seasoned, overall exactly what we were looking for.
While the restaurant may not be considered upscale, don't come in expecting a fancy family dinner or romantic evening. However, the Colombian cuisine is delicious and reasonably priced. The empanadas are fantastic, and the soups are both generous and tasty. The owner is friendly, but it seems like the cooks in the kitchen are the real stars. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
We went for lunch in mid July with my son who has just returned from spending a year in Colombia. It is a very small place, you eat at the counter, and everything is made fresh when you walk in. The service was friendly and helpful. We had empanadas, beef only which were crispy and delicious, especially with the hot sauce alongside. Also had a papa rellena, again also crunchy on the outside and soft and delicious inside ( the filling was the same or similar to the empanada) My son had arroz con pollo, which was a large portion, alot of white meat chicken and very tasty. We sampled a few juices and soft drinks. The colombiana is like their version of cream soda and I found it a bit sweet, but if you like cream soda it was good. Their fresh made juices were very good and refreshing. I had a coconut pineapple one and my son had lulo, a fruit native to Colombia. The food came out one plate at a time, it is a very small kitchen, but we all tasted each others so didn't mind. My son pronounced it excellent and very authentic. We enjoyed it immensely and will definitely go back.
