Jardin Nelson - Montréal

One of our favorites restaurants in Old Montreal ! When the weather is nice , we like to sit down on the terrace and enjoy the vibrant crowds on Jacques Cartier Square and if the sky is covered with grey clouds or sunset is coming , we like to go inside , enjoy the music and the beautiful environment ! Food is also excellent for the price and the service is friendly !

We went to this restaurant on a very busy night in the city. We were able to get seating quickly in the front, but there was a big line up for the back terrace. Apparently the menu is the same in both sections. The food was perfectly fine, but you could find the same menu in virtually any part of the country. The gluten - free pizza was good according to my celiac wife. My regular pizza was fine as well. The location was good being in the heart of the old Port. Basically, it was a satisfactory meal on a night we didn't have time to search out something special. The service was a bit lax and disinterested. That didn't add much to the ambience of the place.

I had the pork cannelloni and it was delicious! They do not make reservations, so be patient to wait for it in a long line depending on the day. We went there on a Thursday afternoon, had a late lunch and it was really good!

Went here with my girlfriend and it was the perfect place for lunch. It is outside but undercover and you're looking up the walls of some pretty nice buildings. It felt so comfortable. had a nice beer and a pizza. The food isn't anything special but just being there is worth it.

My favorite summer spot! Once every summer I will be at Jardin Nelson without a fail.
