for a Tuesday noon, the resto is quiet, some tourists, and I alone, I choose the club, fast service, smile included, the club is gargantuesque, the chef looks at me by saying that he can eat everything there, indeed it is too much, it is greasy spoon, but it's good, they have dynamite the menu poutine and hot dog, but once is not custom, for the chole! What User doesn't like about Green Spot Restaurant:
The waitress was very aggressive and pushy. The French fries were served cold and the sandwiches lacked flavor. Overall, it was a great disappointment and I will not be returning. View all feedback.

Reviewed this place a couple of years ago and went back last week,no surprises, good fast food, old style diner, brings back memories from many years ago.Try it,hot dogs n fries....best anwhere.
I finally had the chance to try the food, The fries are amazing, friendly staff. very good prices. I will definitely be going back. especially for the all day breakfast
Green spot was a great find for us. This place is you typical montreal diner that is stuck in time. Place is nice and cozy. Food is good and service is amazing specially the old lady who served us. Price are reasonable for the food you're getting. Deff a nice hidden gem
On a visit to the Atwater Market (great) we saw the Green Spot and decided to pop in for lunch. Really glad we did. Classic old diner with vinyl seats, old signage and table top juke boxes. All great but the food was better. We had the St Henri burger with a side of classic poutine. (Tourists ftom Vancouver..... what else would we have?) Really enjoyed the burger and the poutine. I saw someone order a chocolate shake and really regretted not over doing my caloric intake. For the week! Helen, our server, helped us out with directions for our walk back to Old Montreal via the LaChine Canal pathway, a very enjoyable stroll. So the big decision for a British Columbian .... what's better, a Green Spot burger in Montreal or a White Spot burger in Vancouver? Answer: White Spot burger in B.C. (I'm biased) but the Green Spot poutine was a special treat over the always good White Spot fries with gravy.
