Dunn's Famous - Montréal

If you want a filling, delicious, hearty meal, great service, and a laid back yet welcoming atmosphere: definitely come to Dunn's. I came here and tried the smoked meat sandwich with sauerkraut and mustard sauce. They give you two options: lean meator the more fatty cut of meat. I personally went with the fatty cut as it's less chewy/dry and packed with smoky flavour. Theportion is ridiculously large and you definitely get bang for your buck. I was almost not even able to finish my meal! Thesandwich came with some delicious fries, coleslaw, and half a pickle. I washed it down with a brown Newcastle ale and I willdefinitely be coming back. There's a reason why Dunn's has been around since 1927 and I think it's because they don'tcompromise on tradition and quality.

The first place on the Montreal visit. Close to via rail, gives ya 5hat old school deli vibe. So thankful for the recommendation from server. Got the smoked meat meal. Was pricey but omg so worth every bite upgraded to poutine which was out of this world.Very spacious and clean and oh so very good right down to the pickle, cant forget the pickle.

Visiting Montreal, had to try Dunn's and Schwartz's. I ate at Dunn's twice because it was SO GOOD. The smoked meat was tender and tasty. Schwartz's was good but a bit on the drier side. Enjoyed my meal in the patio. Very relaxing. Excellent fries andslaw. Very filling. Worth the price. Great location, downtown.

Had to compare to Schwartz?s. The actually smoked meat is amazing, super delicious. However everything else lacks quality and flavour. The bread is so so, the coleslaw, potato latkas, and sides are just below bar in general. Very fast service and sitdown to eat ratio.

Very good smoked meat sandwich, it is worth to see to choose the rate of fat of meat. Very copyy.
