What User doesn't like about Da Emma:
Waiter wasn’t particularly attentive and didn’t bring the wine until food was delivered after mins. Had ordered Fettucine w. mushrooms which was fresh and well prepared, however absolutely irrelevant. I haven’t had as boring a pasta meal since college. Friend had ordered swordfish which...had no seasoning at all, just fish and tomato. Didn’t finish it. Altogether not worth the wait nor spend. View all feedback.

We anticipated for years to eat at this restaurant. I must say our server Renato was a true gentleman and very attentive. If it wasn’t for him our dinner would of been a complete disaster. We had the Tomato/Buffalo mozz and arugula with shaved...Parm, very basic kind of slapped together. Buff/mozz very excellent quality. The mains was the orata fish whole, a little fishy, not fresh I would guess. The porcini pasta just bland. The meatballs were delicious . Maybe we got a bad night but did not live up to our expectations. Once again our server Renato went above snd beyond great service and was a pleasure to meet.
Having read favorable reviews and receiving a recommendation from the hotel concierge, I had high expectations this was going to be a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately it fell far short of expectation. The veal dish I ordered was lacking seasoning, and the canned peas, ordinary...pasta and watery sauce were unappetizing to say the least. My companion\'s entree arrived a lonely pork shank on the plate. This kitchen offers simple home cooking that is really not representative of Italian fine dining. When we didn\'t care to favorably comment on our dinner or order dessert, the waiter seemed to dismiss us with disdain!
Amazing authentic Italian cuisine with old fashioned quality service especially from our waiter Franco who catered to our every need and amazed us with his knowledge of Italian culture, food and sport! Ambiance, food quality and experience all star! Owner greets all clients fantastic!...Thank you
Da Emma has had mixed reviews so I was not sure what to expect. Service was good although far from friendly. The menu is overall good but the pasta choices are sparse (only How can an Italian restaurant have only pasta plates!!! Try...the burrata it is excellent and the meatballs are also very good. The wine list is large but a tad expensive. Overall the experience was acceptable if a bit bland as there was not the “wow” factor. If you want a genuine Italian experience stick to Little Italy.
