The food was outstanding by vegan standards. However, you put your order in after waiting in a long line. Once we placed our order for two, we waited 25 minutes for it to be done. There are no waiters. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Copper Branch:
copper branch is a vegan food chain that has different stalls in and around the city. each restaurant has a trendy and clean feeling. it is a good option if you want a fast healthy meal on the jump. eating is tasty, but something overpriced my mind. my personal favorites are the shijitake teriyaki burger and the aztec bowl. We tried the buffalo wings, poutine, and shiitake mushroom sandwich (along with a hot chocolate!) at this restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the poutine and spicy wings. The sandwich was decent, but we probably wouldn't order it again. I believe adding a jackfruit sandwich to the menu would be a fantastic idea. Although the sandwich I had was close to what I was craving, it didn't quite hit the mark. The service was excellent and friendly. I would definitely consider returning to this restaurant when I travel to Montreal.
We tried the Aztec Bowl and it was amazing. We enjoyed sitting outside and even noticed the clever design of the outdoor chairs. The man who took our order was very friendly and it felt like a personalized experience, not just another anonymous customer. The flavors of the dish were outstanding.
My husband and I had lunch at Copper Branch. I ordered the Spicy Black Bean Burger on Kamut bread and he ordered the Mushroom Galaxy Burger on Kamut as well; both were delicious. They tasted very similar to meat burgers, but we thought they could have been served with a side, like a small green salad or baked sweet potato fries. For a $30 lunch, we expected to leave feeling more satisfied. The coffee was excellent.
Starting from the service to the taste...I’d give a 2 on 10. It’s 7pm, poor service attitude, very unwelcomed. I took a tempeh sandwich and it was cold and terrible. I also had a regular fries which was between warm and cold. My Bombay lentil soup was cold and had to ask them to warm it up. In terms of hygiene, the tables were sticky. Overall experience was terrible. The food is pricey so one expects a good tasty meal but it’s the complete opposite that one gets. That was my 2nd and last time there.
I only go occasionally because I find it a bit expensive for a lunch. Putting that aside, the food is always very tasty and healthy. Each time I have went the service was quick enough. If it were not for the price, I would most definitely go more often $12 with tax) . Today I chose their new falafel wrap. It was sensational. Great flavors and so refreshing. Their quinoa chili is also very good.
