This is listed as a restaurant but it's a golf club with two courses. We made our reservation for the Island course, but were mistakenly booked on the Ireland course instead. (Be very clear on the phone between Island and Ireland.) All worked out fine and we had an enjoyable round. Very well maintained. We were paired up with two locals who have played here many times. Only once a lifetime on this ground. The land itself is very beautiful. You played the island's course. It is all the coil that has depicted to several members of the arrogant and even irrespective Marchhall group. initially very smiling. the location probably justifies the exorbitant price requested. experience will not be repeated for all these reasons. They told us that a lot of the rough areas have been been cut back to make the course more playable. Was helpful to have the locals' input on some blind shots. Take your own drinking water -- I don't recall seeing any along the course.
This is an annual can't miss course when I go to Montreal, especially the Irish course. It's links style, very challenging, and very well maintained. Green fees are reasonable, and there's a second 18 at the site, which is also challenging and a good layout. Highly recommend.
Played there a half dozen times this summer. Not that long from the whites. Interesting lay out with fairways going up and down some hills, some fairways going through a very narrow throat, very tough roughs with long dense grass. The dining is good and their terrace gives onto a stunning water cascade with the emblem to one side. Nice touch. There are 36 holes on this course , my favorite being the Irlande. Average difficulty.Fairways and greens were in great shape even early in the season.
