Cafe Lezard - Montréal

There are not many places like Café Lézard anymore, a true neighborhood restaurant-café-hangout! I have had business meetings, family dinners, lazy afternoons, and one or two breakdowns there. My favorites are the chocolate-beetroot cake, the gravlax toast when it's available, and the homemade lemonades. Rachel welcomes us in a simple and pleasant way, and her team is always funny and welcoming.

My favorite neighborhood cafe! Whether with family, for a business meeting, or simply catching up with friends over coffee, this place is top-notch. The coffee is delicious (I now buy my coffee beans here), the food is simple and tasty, the atmosphere is great, and the service is warm. It's a comfortable and welcoming place that keeps me coming back!

I stumbled upon this restaurant while staying in the area for one night. The food was fantastic, the beer was amazing, and there was a fantastic local jazz band performing. I highly recommend visiting this place.

Last meal of my short stay in Montreal and I love this cafe! 3 blocks walking distant from Rosemont and 8th, I went in alone on a Saturday night and there was a band playing jazzy music which made my meal so relaxing. Food was delicious and not too heavy. I love the local artists they feature on their wall and the piano they have. Perfect last meal to make my trip to Montreal memorable!

Great place, delicious menu, good selection of beers and wines, lovely staff and perfect location! Worth checking it out!
