My husband and I had lunch here after seeing it get good reviews and were delighted by the experience. The space a charming and warm and full of locals. The crepes are made with buckwheat flour which makes them more substantial and somehow more “real...food” than dessert. What קובי לוריא doesn't like about Breizh Café:
We sampled two different galettes, a Breton specialty, and one sweet crepe, all paired with Breton cider. Everything was incredibly tasty. The server was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. We will definitely come back next time we are in Montreal. View all feedback.
Great food, friendly service at a reasonable price. my 65th birthday based on other comments from trip advisor. was so glad we were here.
When I was born and raised in the French bretagne, I can see a real crêpe when I see him, trust me on this! this crêperie belongs to 100% branded wine that knows its business safely! (very friendly man by the way) this restaurant has nothing to do with the tourist falling crêperie that they could find somewhere else in montréal. depending on where they stay, it can take a small walk / drive, but it is absolutely worth it! the personal is absolutely beautiful, especially this young lady named morgane:
We recently saw an interview with the owner of the Breizh Cafe and decided we needed to try it. It is a small business restaurant whose owner makes speciality crepes from Brittany (France). As we entered we immediately got a table; we ordered La Robiquette ...(Sausage from Toulouse, Swiss cheese, tomatoes and caramelized onions) and La Parisienne (ham, Swiss cheese, béchamel sauce and sautéed mushrooms) both were very good (rating 4/5). When the 2 plates came you couldn 't know which one was which as both crepes looked identical. For dessert we decided to take 1 sweet flambé crepe called l 'Antillaise (banana, chocolate, coconut, and rum) it was also very good (rating 4/5). Prices are affordable and fair. The only thing which we found average was the service. Overall Recommended as it offers interesting crepes.

We've been coming here for years virtually every time we've traveled from Vermont to Montréal and have always been greeted warmly and with a smile, which just adds to the joy of some of the best galettes we could possibly imagine at least as...good as the best we've tasted among the many crêperies bretonnes in the Montparnasse district of Paris. Il s'agit d'une tellement belle ambience et un accueil chaleureux, et les galettes sont absolument magnifiques on peut les comparer au meilleures que l'on peut goûter à Paris Montparnasse. We're already looking forward to our next trip to Montréal, for one of its finest highlights brunch at Breizh!
