We've been to Portugal a couple of times, and eaten at several (excellent) Portuguese restaurants in Montreal, but this was the most fun. Very reasonably priced, with a good menu and excellent preparations. The atmosphere ws laid-back, very local, no pretense, and the staff made it a great experience. View all feedback.

I have been going there for years and on the last visit my order was wrong so they took it back and left the other dinner plate so one of us ate without the other! Too boot my dinner was below average! And who runs...out of dessert!! I won’t go back! View all feedback.
Small-Medium resto, friendly staff. Good food. A lot of the meat is done on charcoal barbecue. Going back : Yes :)

This place has to be hands down one of the best Portuguese restaurants in town. 1500 sq feet of WOW! Finger licking good. It's a must, my wife doesn't eat chicken on the bone and she loves this place.
After an early saturday movie night.( Lion..wow what a movie)..my wife and i needed a food fix to finish off this great evening. After driving down the 117 to Mtl,we drove by this resto without knowing what to expect...after parking across the street on St Lawrence..we walk in on a very busy resto. After being greeted by a smilling owner..and not having reservations..we were shown to a great window side table...luck was on our side...What a great small resto...with a big heart..The small wine list is perfect to pair with our tasty cod accras and our grilled octopus...wow! what a treat!!My wifes fish was perfectly cooked and my mix of charcoal meat and poultry plate was also exceptional. The meat is so tender you could eat it without your dentures...the spicy sauce( which they also sell.) is tasty and will make your tastebuds go crazy..and what about those fries!!!!WOW!!Finished off this great evening with espresso and two nata custard tarts...miammmmm...Obrigado to all of you at Braseiro for a great evening and see you again very soon.
Best Portuguese Chicken in town. Their rib eye steak and lamb chops are excellent. Everything is cooked on a wood charcoal grill. Their fries are to die for. This restaurant is a very good value. Convivial small bistro like restaurant. Lunch or dinner, better do a reservation. Accept large group. I do not recommend the cod, because re-hydrated from salted cod. Way to salty!
