I recently found this small little quaint place in the heart of downtown. If you're looking out for a good flavorful spicy (not hot) sandwich/shwarmas around downtown, you should drop by this place! This would be the no. 1 sandwich joint on my list in Montreal. I think this place is the best for take out orders as the seating is limited. View all feedback.
What Robert Corwin doesn't like about Antep Kabab:
I haven't been to this place in 4 years because the last time I ordered a chicken sandwich, it was full of gooey fat, and less meat. This time, I asked the server to make sure there is no fat in the sandwich. They looked at me as though I was crazy! The sandwich had a couple of fat pieces, but it was a tasty sandwich. The barbecued chicken was delicious, the bread was a good size but a little too hard textured. They... View all feedback.
I cooked my own noodles and purchased a local dish, a succulent grilled chicken from Antep Kebab located right next to my apartment. I requested only the bun without the pita bread and the staff were accommodating to my specific request. I plan to try their kebabs tomorrow. The restaurant has a long line, but I now understand why - the food is so tender. I visited in September 2019 and if I ever return, I must order the house special again.
I got 4 sandwiches for me and my friend yesterday 2019-09-07. He said there were only 2 brote. we told him ok, then we paid for 2 then after a few minutes he said to my friend oh sorry that we miscalculated how many brote are left and now there is only 1 and he can give him the piece meat and the salat without brot for the same price.
I've been a customer for a few years. I must be honest and mention a few things. 1.Food is good and her brot is amazing. price is ok, they bring cash as they only accept cash. 2.I notice their customers, I am. but I would say that their arab ( call it racist or whatever, but its reality) customers are extremely IL-manned, rude and illiterate. 3.Owner (both couples) work every day so they are somehow extremely tired and can no longer manage the place. the fact that the owner works every day, they are short tempered/rude and I saw them disregard customers or particularly respect their own employees a few times before the customers. I feel like working for such millionaire owners every day I think they are either cheap or greedy, every day for the last 5-6 years since then I know the place to work. my honest opinion for the owner is to take 1-2 days in the week, relax and treat their employees and their customers well and fortunately not as with tiredness/rude face all the time. his only mine tho 4. your personal is in order, not really good service, but be not a chic or super expensive place anyway, that much service would not be fair. because the fact that you are rude and the owners are rude, so that both types of squeeze the personal and why I see that personal / service is not happy / stressed and changes every day. They either quit or are fired by their rude owner (especially the dame owner). there are kerl who works in the regular at weeks he is really customer care tho. due to good eating and amazing brot I will rate it as 2 stars khallaas
To get to the museum, we caught chicken kebabs and were impressed by both quality and quantity. this place appeared popular among natives especially close to concordia students, so be ready to wait when busy. our 10 minutes waiting was worth it.
I had the best chicken kebab in town at this restaurant. The sandwiches and plates are also delicious. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for family and friends. I highly recommend this place if you want to try Turkish kebabs.
