This is a hidden gem in Montreal city. Away from the main streets where there are lots of other restaurants. The restaurant is small but has a lovely atmosphere. The menu is comprehensive and the prices reasonable. I had spanakopita which came with a Greek salad freshly made, rice and boiled potatoes. There was a side serving of toasted bread and yoghurt. The portion was generous and more than I could eat. The waitin... View all feedback.
What Aidan Dietrich doesn't like about Acropolis:
I wish we got some cold sandwiches from the pharmacy Across the street and kept our 100bucks to spend on something worthy. Worst greek restaurant ever. Nothing was fresh. Bread was over cooked, souvlaki undercooked, moussaka was swimming in oil. Slow and grumpy server. She could not even calculate the bill correctly. I would not eat anything if we were not starving and we still had to leave half the plates because mo... View all feedback.
Upon entering this restaurant, you are immediately transported to Greece with its splashes of blue and white accents on the balconies and multiple levels.
This restaurant always goes above and beyond expectations. It feels like being greeted by an old friend. Whenever I'm in Montreal, visiting Ouzerie is a must.
This restaurant used to be really good but unfortunately it is now closed. It's a shame. There was no notice about whether it was relocated or shut down permanently.
My wife and I stumbled across this restaurant on a Sunday night and thought we'd give it a try. It was completely empty but nicely appointed as though in Greece, typical white and blue theme. We walked in and had to get the owner's attention as he didn't hear us come in? He sat us near the window of course to help give the illusion it was less empty. Right away our server who is also the owner started into the political state of the world, he later came to apologize and then started right up again which negated his apology, not what we were looking for. Upon paying the bill I tried to stay off politics but he started up again! Needless to say we were baffled, my wife walked out in outrage so that will certainly be the first and last time we come here! We ordered a Pikilia plate and two chicken pitas with a glass of wine each. The Pikilia was average, tomatoes were cold and limp and the other items average. Our chicken pitas were large but very average, we get much better food from the little Greek restaurant up the street from us. What was supposed to be a romantic spontaneous outing turned into a Seinfeld soup nazi type of experience. Prices are reasonable.
Looks like a family restaurant, husband cooks wife serves. Decent quality of food nothing special. Average experience
