This is probably one of the best Portuguese restaurants in Montreal and very affordable. Great seafood, I highly recommend the octopus salad. I heard others say that the chicken is also great. They have a street terrace in summer with a very good mood. View all feedback.
What Sigrid Cummerata doesn't like about A Quinta:
The chicken is real good. The price, can't complain. Fries, salads and desserts are ok, 5 on 10. I go there only for the chicken. The staffs are friendly. In terms of cleanliness, 5 on 10. View all feedback.
Food and service were reasonable. Serving is kind, but sloppy. First, they put soup on the table while I ordered salad. Later they forget my beer. ribs were good. Fish was cross and rubber. I can do better.
We were in Montreal for a music festival last summer and wanted a decently priced meal that was BBQ. We walked past this place and a couple of guys sitting on the patio said how great the food was. It also looked amazing, so that's how we stumbled upon Aquinta.I had 1/2 a BBQ'd chicken which was very flavorful and tasty. Also on the plate was rice and salad. It was like eating a homemade meal which is what I love when I go to restaurants. It had an open-air seating arrangement at the front end of the restaurant which is where the four of us sat, it was perfect and a great way to start our day. We'll be attending the same music festival this year and will definitely be paying a lunch visit to Aquinta (I've kept the card in my wallet.)
This restaurant in a popular neighborhood, which we meet without paying attention, deserves to be stopped. menu and decor reflect the tastes of a clientele allergic to flafla. Entries? Chicken wings, delicious, crispy and mortal for the arteries. The cod was one finger to be excellent, the excess oil prevented it from passing the bar. The plates are insanely generous, typical of a family kitchen, hence the absence of dessert at the end of meals, under the risk of explosion. the wine map is basic, a little flat, with prices a swollen thigh. the service was friendly, unpretentious, sometimes clumsy, but always accompanied by a smile. prices are perfect. There is a terrace, which overlooks the car traffic, which is a less, but also on the neighborhood fauna, which is a big plus.
We have very good food, we loved, however the service was medium (difficulty to have the drinks) a plate to be forgotten to order. We were told it wasn't usual and the restaurant was full. despite everything we have eaten very well and we recommend this restaurant
To bring or taste on site you will not be disappointed. The chicken is excellent. The staff is kind and attentive. ah yes, the Portuguese sauce is actually good.
