Contribute FeedbackThis local izakaya offers a cozy neighborhood vibe and specialized Japanese dishes, including renowned ramen options that stand out as some of the best in Montreal. However, the menu is limited, and while their torched sushi delights, the sashimi lacks finesse. Service can be inconsistent, with longer wait times for some guests and staff who may not provide optimal dish recommendations. The ambiance suffers from overly bright lighting, which detracts from the culinary experience. Overall, while the restaurant shines in some areas, it leaves room for improvement in flavor and service cohesion.
The restaurant was not what I had anticipated. The fried Gyoza was a letdown. Gyoza should not be fried. Despite this, I would consider returning.
The lights are too bright. The waitress is friendly, but unable to recommend a food/sake pairing and does not seem to be very knowledgeable about the dishes offered. The food lacks flavor.
Cute cozy neighborhood atmosphere. Tamari or gluten free soy sauce is available with sashimi if you are looking for gluten-free meal.
Bartender or owner was very informative with the Japanese Whiskey I was searching for and the food was simply amazing as always!
It wasnât what I was expecting. The fried Gyoza was a huge disappointment. Gyoza shouldnât be fried. I would go back.
