we had lunch here on Tuesday and were able to enjoy the special ones they only have on Tuesday. it was a cassoulet de canard that is more famous in toulouse, but is popular throughout the south of France. it was like a stew with a gut. meat, white beans and more. very delicious! I recommend very much when in the opposite on Tuesday. we sat inside to avoid the smoker sitting in the outside pavilion. service was good,... View all feedback.
What Sophie Russell doesn't like about L'Esplanade:
we waited a long time for someone who takes our order because they had only one server in the middle of the happy hour. unexpected drinks, beautiful garden space, but poor service. View all feedback.

I recommend very much when in the opposite on Tuesday. we sat inside to avoid the smoker sitting in the outside pavilion. service was good, fast and friendly. the bathroom was clean. the payment was on the switch, and the credit card was ok. it was a pleasant surprise that we stumbled on looking for something local. All right!
The hotel is located in front of jardin du champ de mars, it is the most pleasant location and ensures good human observation as I had a table next to the front window. I ordered the daily menu grilled pork chop in a cream sauce, by the side and...risotto during everything well presented, I found the pork too well made and the risotto too watery. salat was good. I ordered a glass of local red wine that was beautiful. service was efficient, although not warm. the price was reasonable.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a lovely outdoor lunch on the Blvd. The staff was very friendly. The plat du jour grilled salmon, fried potatoes and salad was excellent value and very tasty. If you need a lunch spot that includes some people...watching in an outdoor space, then don't hesitate to stop here. It is just a short walk to the train station.
We decided to have a drink at this bar as the outdoor seating area was in an attractive location. The glass of white wine I ordered was tepid and vinegary-really quite undrinkable. We told one waiter who said he would change this for us. Some...time later another waiter (perhaps the manager) came back to our table with the original glass of wine. He refused to change it for us and said there was nothing wrong with it. As they take your money as soon as the drinks arrive at the table (therefore before you've had a chance to try) there was nothing we could do. Extremely unfriendly and incredibly poor service. Would not recommend.
